Equipped with high-performance ultrasonic transducer arrays, this unit achieves highly sensitive identification of longitudinal cracks, transverse fractures, inclined flaws and internal laminar delaminations. The machine operates on the\u00a0ultrasonic pulse-echo technique<\/strong>. High-frequency ultrasonic waves (2\u20135 MHz) are generated by piezoelectric probes and transmitted into the pipe wall via\u00a0water-coupling<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

  • No defect<\/strong>: Ultrasound travels through the wall and reflects from the inner surface, producing a\u00a0back-wall echo<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
