Our OCTG M\u00e1quina de dete\u00e7\u00e3o de falhas por ultrassons <\/a>is a fully automated, CNC digital control non-destructive testing system engineered to perform complete 100% volumetric inspection on both seamless and electric resistance welded oil pipes, oil casings and production tubing.<\/div>\n

Equipped with high-performance ultrasonic transducer groups, it provides high-sensitivity detection of various pipe defects including longitudinal cracks, transverse fissures, oblique defects and laminar separations, while supporting synchronous full-length wall thickness measurement with outstanding precision.<\/div>\n

All inspection procedures and data recording fully conform to authoritative industry standards including API 5CT and API 5L, meeting the strict quality testing requirements of global oil & gas OCTG manufacturing plants.<\/div>\n

Working Principle<\/h2>\n

The machine operates on the ultrasonic pulse-echo technique<\/strong>. High-frequency ultrasonic waves (2\u20135 MHz) are generated by piezoelectric probes and transmitted into the pipe wall via water-coupling<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

  • No defect<\/strong>: Ultrasound travels through the wall and reflects from the inner surface, producing a back-wall echo<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  • With defect<\/strong>: Waves reflect earlier at discontinuities (cracks, inclusions, laminations), generating a defect echo<\/strong> before the back-wall signal.<\/li>\n
