Fitted with high-performance ultrasonic transducer arrays, it delivers high-sensitivity detection for longitudinal cracks, transverse fractures, inclined flaws and internal laminar delaminations. Working Principle<\/h2>\n

The machine operates on the\u00a0ultrasonic pulse-echo technique<\/strong>. High-frequency ultrasonic waves (2\u20135 MHz) are generated by piezoelectric probes and transmitted into the pipe wall via\u00a0water-coupling<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

  • No defect<\/strong>: Ultrasound travels through the wall and reflects from the inner surface, producing a\u00a0back-wall echo<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  • With defect<\/strong>: Waves reflect earlier at discontinuities (cracks, inclusions, laminations), generating a\u00a0defect echo<\/strong>\u00a0before the back-wall signal.<\/li>\n
