Our Variable Loop Horizontal Accumulator is typically installed between the shear & end welding unit and tube forming mill on ERW pipe production lines. Designed as professional strip buffer storage equipment, it pre-stores a sufficient length of steel strip as material reserve.
When the production line executes coil changeover, strip end trimming and butt welding between the in-process strip and a new steel coil, the reserved strip inside the looper delivers stable, continuous feeding to the downstream forming mill without interruption.
Serving as vital auxiliary machinery for ERW tube fabrication, this horizontal looper prevents complete line shutdowns during coil switching and strip butt welding procedures. It sustains stable continuous production, improves overall line operating efficiency, reduces unplanned downtime, lifts finished pipe yield and dimensional consistency, and greatly increases total output and economic benefits for your entire ERW welded pipe production line.
