Our Orbital Trajectory Milling Cut-off Unit is a next-generation fully automatic inline flying cold cutting system custom-built for high-speed ERW tube mills, seamless pipe production lines and professional OCTG manufacturing plants.
It is a superior upgrade over conventional flying shears and traditional flying cold saws. Adopting planetary orbital milling technology, the unit realizes real-time trajectory tracking and length-set cutting for running steel pipes, enabling non-stop continuous production without line downtime during cutting.
Different from thermal cutting and punch shearing, this equipment adopts an all-cold cutting process. Using a dedicated single cold saw blade as its core wear component, it produces pipe ends with zero burrs, no dimensional deformation and zero heat-affected zones (HAZ). Suitable for small, medium and large carbon steel, alloy steel and stainless steel tubes, plus OCTG casing and tubing, it has become the preferred cutting solution for high-end intelligent pipe mills worldwide.
