Orbital Milling Cutoff represents a next-generation fully automatic in-line cold flying cutting system custom-engineered for high-speed ERW tube mills, seamless steel pipe production lines and dedicated OCTG (Oil Country Tubular Goods) manufacturing facilities. Developed as an advanced replacement for traditional flying shears and conventional flying cold saws, it leverages planetary orbital milling cutting technology to achieve synchronized tracking and fixed-length cutting on continuously moving steel pipes, eliminating production line downtime during cutting operations.

Unlike thermal cutting and punch shearing processes, our orbital milling cutoff executes complete full cold cutting across the entire production cycle. Centered on a dedicated single cold saw blade as its primary cutting consumable, the unit produces pipe ends free of burrs, dimensional deformation and heat-affected zones (HAZ). Highly adaptable to small, medium and large-sized carbon steel tubes, alloy steel tubes, stainless steel tubes, as well as OCTG casings and tubings, it has evolved into the preferred cutting solution for premium intelligent pipe manufacturing plants across the globe.
