Overview
Our strip flattener serves as a critical pre-forming auxiliary equipment dedicated to OCTG and ERW tube production lines. Positioned right downstream of the uncoiler, it is designed to treat incoming steel strips from steel coils. This equipment effectively removes inherent coil set, edge camber, surface waviness and internal residual stress of hot-rolled or cold-rolled steel strips.
By thoroughly flattening and straightening the material, it ensures the steel strip is kept perfectly flat, rigid and dimensionally stable during feeding, which creates optimal working conditions for the subsequent tube forming, seam welding and other downstream production processes, and guarantees continuous, steady and high-quality operation of the entire production line.
Application
Specially designed for standard ERW steel pipe production lines, widely used in manufacturing round, square and rectangular welded steel pipes for construction, pipeline, machinery and furniture industries.
