Max.245mm O.D. 2-station API OCTG Pipes Hydrotesting Mill delivers precision hydrostatic pressure testing for seamless and welded tubular products covering an extensive outer diameter range, effectively uncovering hidden internal pipe imperfections.

Equipped with wide-opening radial and end-face sealing structures, the unit forms dependable end sealing before high-pressure water is fed into the pipe inner bore. Test pressure is held strictly in accordance with mainstream industry standards such as API 5CT to validate sealing performance and detect any potential leakage.

All generated test data gets automatically archived in a dedicated database to realize full test traceability and convenient historical record lookup. Built with an integrated automatic & manual dual-control system, this hydro tester ensures consistent, secure and eco-compliant long-term operation.

Process Flow

The hydraulic pressure test has three processes: pipe flushing, pressure testing and water drainage, and they are run in sequence as follows:

Pipe feeding bed 1→ flipping pipe 1→ pipe flushing → flipping pipe 2 → pipe feeding bed 2→ lateral movement chain → test pressure (clamping → radial pre-sealing → water injection → pipe end sealing→ pressure increase → pressure holding → pressure relief → water discharge → clamp loosening→ lateral movement)  → pipe feeding bed 3 (discharge pipe bed) → water drainage- flipping pipe 3 → storage bed
