The Hydraulic Expander is core forming equipment for OCTG (Oil Country Tubular Goods) production lines, specially designed for diameter expansion, inner‑outer surface finishing and dimensional correction of seamless oil casing, tubing and drill pipes. It eliminates pipe ovality, uneven wall thickness and dimensional deviation after piercing and rolling, ensuring consistent outer diameter, roundness and straightness of OCTG pipes.
Adopting high‑precision hydraulic drive and modular expansion die sets, it delivers uniform radial expansion force. It is compatible with carbon steel, alloy steel and high‑strength steel grades for OCTG, supporting batch production with stable performance, low deformation rate and high dimensional repeatability. It perfectly matches downstream heat treatment, threading and coupling processes to meet API Spec 5CT standards.
