Entry Section Strip End Welding Machine is an essential auxiliary welding unit for ERW tube mill lines. It is designed to continuously join the tail end of the active steel coil with the head end of the incoming coil during pipe production. The equipment enables non-stop operation of the ERW pipe mill, significantly cutting downtime, boosting production efficiency and reducing scrap rates for carbon steel, galvanized steel and alloy steel pipe fabrication.
Adopting an integrated shearing and welding design, our shear end welder automatically trims uneven steel strip ends, precisely aligns strip edges and finishes butt welding in a single cycle. Fitted with a reliable resistance welding system, it produces flat, strong and crack-free weld seams. The spliced steel strip can travel smoothly through the forming stands, sizing stands and high-frequency welding unit of the ERW tube production line without strip breakage during continuous pipe forming.
Custom configurations are offered to accommodate various strip widths and thicknesses for ERW steel pipe mills, supporting round tube and square tube manufacturing.
