Our Cost-effective Steel Coil Flattener (also referred to as a strip leveler) serves as critical entry‑section equipment for a full‑scale ERW tube mill line. Mounted immediately after the uncoiler, it pre‑conditions steel strips prior to forming and welding operations. Purpose‑built to remove coil‑set curvature, edge waviness and residual internal stress inherent to hot‑rolled and cold‑rolled steel coils, this leveling unit produces consistently flat strip feedstock for subsequent tube forming. It significantly stabilizes weld seam quality and reduces pipe reject rates.
Engineered for carbon steel, alloy steel and galvanized steel strips, our ERW flattener features heavy‑duty hardened leveling rolls and adjustable pinch rolls. It supports synchronized automatic operation with the uncoiler, shear‑butt welder and strip accumulator throughout the ERW pipe production sequence. Hydraulic pressure adjustment allows fast parameter reconfiguration for varying strip thickness and width, making it compatible with a wide range of ERW mill capacities and OCTG pipe production demands.
Constructed with a heavy welded frame, the machine facilitates convenient roll change and routine maintenance, supporting prolonged continuous heavy‑duty operation.
