Overview

ERW Pipe Mill Horizontal Looper is generally mounted between the shear & end welding station and tube forming mill of ERW pipe production lines. Custom-engineered as a steel strip buffer storage device, it preloads adequate strip stock to act as a material reserve.
When executing coil changeovers, strip end cropping and butt welding joints between the ongoing strip and a new steel coil, the pre-stored strip within the accumulator guarantees steady, uninterrupted feeding to the downstream tube forming mill.
As vital auxiliary machinery for ERW pipe manufacturing, this horizontal spiral accumulator prevents complete line shutdowns triggered by coil replacement and strip butt welding operations.
