Overview

Our Looper Accumulator for ERW Tube Mill Line is typically installed between the flying shear & end welding station and the tube forming mill on ERW pipe production lines. Specially engineered as a steel strip buffer storage unit, it pre-stores ample strip stock as reserve material.
During coil changeover procedures, including strip end cropping and butt welding between the running strip and a new coil, the reserved strip inside this serpentine accumulator guarantees stable, uninterrupted feeding to the downstream tube forming mill.
As an essential auxiliary piece of equipment for ERW welded pipe production, this horizontal accumulator prevents full line stoppages resulting from coil replacement and strip butt welding.
