Overview

An uncoiler is the first and core feeding equipment of a complete ERW Tube Mill Line. Also known as a decoiler, it is specially designed to hold, support and continuously release steel coil for the subsequent strip leveling, forming, welding and pipe sizing process in ERW pipe production.
Our Hydraulic Uncoiler for ERW Tube Mill Line handles carbon steel, alloy steel and galvanized steel coils with wide coil weight and width ranges. It adopts a hydraulic expanding and contracting mandrel structure to fix steel coils firmly, avoiding coil slipping during unwinding. Equipped with anti-torsion and tension control functions, this steel coil uncoiler ensures stable, smooth strip feeding and reduces material deformation, which effectively protects the whole ERW tube mill line and improves production continuity.
We supply single-head uncoiler and double-head uncoiler options for ERW pipe mills. The double-head uncoiler enables non-stop coil changeover, greatly saving downtime and boosting pipe production efficiency.
