Overview

φ12-108mm four-station pipe coupling hydro testing machine is custom-engineered for hydrostatic pressure testing of seamless and welded pipes with a wide spectrum of outer diameters, effectively identifying hidden internal defects. Before pressurization, pipe ends are hermetically sealed with either large-clearance radial sealing or end-face sealing, and high-pressure water is subsequently fed into the pipe bore. Test pressure is sustained in compliance with relevant industrial standards to confirm seal integrity and spot potential leakage. All test data is automatically saved to a dedicated database to ensure full traceability and convenient record lookup. Fitted with integrated manual and automatic dual control modes, the machine runs safely, steadily and in an environmentally sustainable manner.

Process Flow

The hydraulic pressure test has three processes: pipe flushing, pressure testing and water drainage, and they are run in sequence as follows:

Pipe feeding bed 1→ flipping pipe 1→ pipe flushing → flipping pipe 2 → pipe feeding bed 2→ lateral movement chain → test pressure (clamping → radial pre-sealing → water injection → pipe end sealing→ pressure increase → pressure holding → pressure relief → water discharge → clamp loosening→ lateral movement)  → pipe feeding bed 3 (discharge pipe bed) → water drainage- flipping pipe 3 → storage bed
