Overview
This Hydraulic Bucking Unit for OCTG is specially engineered for high-precision makeup and breakout operations of casings, tubings, drill pipes and premium threaded OCTG couplings. Widely deployed in pipe manufacturing plants, OCTG finishing workshops and downhole tool maintenance yards, it fully complies with the torque requirements stipulated in API 5CT and API 7K industry standards.
Two installation forms are available for selection: fixed floor-mounted type and split portable type, covering an extensive diameter spectrum ranging from small-bore tubing to large-diameter heavy-wall casing. Three core clamping mechanisms are offered as optional configurations: wedge roller clamping, full rotary hydraulic clamping and planetary jaw clamping. They are perfectly compatible with standard round threads as well as premium airtight premium connections such as VAM, Hydril and other proprietary special threads.
Powered by a closed-loop hydraulic system and equipped with PLC+HMI intelligent control system, the machine realizes real-time automatic monitoring of torque, turn counts and rotational angle during the entire threading makeup/breakout process. All testing data can be automatically recorded and stored in the onboard database, enabling complete production traceability and permanent quality file archiving.
Three operating modes are supported: manual, semi-automatic and fully automatic, which can flexibly adapt to occasional sporadic maintenance tasks as well as high-yield continuous mass production lines.
