Overview
Our OCTG Production Line Thread Make-up Bucking Unit is custom-engineered to perform high-precision make-up and breakout for casings, tubings, drill pipes and premium threaded OCTG couplings. Widely adopted in pipe mills, OCTG finishing workshops and downhole tool service yards, it fully meets the torque criteria defined by API 5CT and API 7K industrial standards.
Two installation options are provided: stationary floor-mounted type and split portable type, covering a wide diameter range from small-bore tubing to large-diameter heavy-wall casing. Three optional core clamping structures include wedge roller clamping, full rotary hydraulic clamping and planetary jaw clamping. The unit is compatible with standard round threads, as well as high-performance gas-tight premium connections like VAM, Hydril and other patented special threads.
Adopting closed-loop hydraulic drive and PLC+HMI intelligent control system, the equipment automatically monitors torque, rotation turns and angular displacement in real time throughout the entire thread make-up and breakout process. All test data is automatically logged and saved in the local database, enabling full production traceability and permanent archiving of quality documents.
It supports manual, semi-automatic and fully automatic operation modes. Such flexible design fits both sporadic repair and maintenance work and high-capacity continuous mass production on dedicated production lines.
