Our CNC pipe thread lathe is engineered to serve the oil and gas industry. It is suitable for machining OCTG tubing, casing, pup joints, couplings, drill pipes and drilling tools.
This CNC series adopts the latest design innovations. It can complete pipe machining via radial and axial feeding of the cutting tool. A broad scope of machining operations, including beveling, facing, grinding, deburring, tapering and threading, can be carried out on both the OD and ID of the pipe. Tool changes for different angles or profiles are not required.
Threading creates spiral ridges on the ends of tubes, bars, cylinders or rods to facilitate component connection.Threaded connections deliver reliable sealing performance, which is critical for pipelines transporting oil, gas and other fluids.
Our pipe threading machines support radial and axial feed. Operators can adjust the tool holder position to generate different profiles during machining. The machine removes material to form thread profiles in strict accordance with the standard dimensions and tolerances configured by the operator. Furthermore, the CNC control system can store pre-set profiles to be recalled for subsequent production runs.
The machine supports most standard threading specifications such as NPT and NPS, alongside other pipe machining functions including pipe beveling, pipe drilling and pipe-end facing.
