Overview
Large torque capacity bucking equipment (also referred to as make-up&break-out machine) handles makeup and breakout of casing, tubing and coupling connections. Equipped with continuous 360° rotation, torque turn recording and automatic reporting, it is suitable for API and premium tubular makeup.They protect thread integrity and prevent damage during makeup and breakout.
Our bucking units deliver precise makeup, stable breakout and connection integrity testing for casing, tubing, drill pipes and downhole tools. Replacing manual tongs, they ensure repeatable torque control compliant with API standards for OCTG production and field service.
Three main types are available: wedge roller, fully rotational and planetary clamping.Wedge roller models provide stable, high-rigidity clamping for standard API threads. Fully rotational units offer continuous full-circle rotation and a top-opening design, ideal for downhole tools and large-diameter pipes. Planetary clamping units achieve compact, high-precision gripping for premium connections and small-to-medium tubulars.
Commonly used on OCTG production lines, pipe repair shops and downhole tool assembly stations, they boast high speed, large throughput and reliable performance for mass tubular processing.
