Equipment Composition

Mechanic: Pipe feeding bed, rotary flushing system, main unit of hydrostatic tester (water injection head unit, air exhaust head unit, liquid filling head assembly, radial seal head, clamping device, high pressure water system, low pressure water system, kick-out device, rollers device and hydraulic system) water drainage device, discharge bed and storage bed.

Hydraulic: Hydraulic station, valve groups

Pneumatic: Pneumatic unit, valve groups

Electric: Operation console, electrical control cabinets, equipped with: PLC,industrial computer, HMI and encoders.

Overview

φ12-89mm 4-station 70Mpa API Spec 5CT Tubing Inspection Equipment is engineered to conduct hydrostatic pressure testing on seamless and welded pipes across a full range of outer diameters, enabling detection of concealed internal flaws. Prior to pressurization, pipe terminals are hermetically sealed via either large-clearance radial sealing or end-face sealing technology, after which high-pressure water is injected into the pipe’s inner chamber. The test pressure is maintained per prevailing industrial specifications to verify sealing tightness and check for fluid leakage. All testing parameters are auto-logged into a dedicated database, supporting complete traceability and retrievable historical records. Featuring dual-operation configurations of manual and automatic control, this equipment delivers safe, stable and environmentally friendly operational performance.

Process Flow

The hydraulic pressure test has three processes: pipe flushing, pressure testing and water drainage, and they are run in sequence as follows:

Pipe feeding bed 1→ flipping pipe 1→ pipe flushing → flipping pipe 2 → pipe feeding bed 2→ lateral movement chain → test pressure (clamping → radial pre-sealing → water injection → pipe end sealing→ pressure increase → pressure holding → pressure relief → water discharge → clamp loosening→ lateral movement)  → pipe feeding bed 3 (discharge pipe bed) → water drainage- flipping pipe 3 → storage bed
