Overview

φ≤89mm Max. pressure 120Mpa double station Drill Pipe Hydrostatic Press Unit is purpose-built for hydrostatic pressure testing of seamless and welded pipes covering diverse outer diameters to identify concealed inherent defects. Before pressurisation, pipe ends are hermetically sealed using either large-clearance radial sealing or end-face sealing, followed by high-pressure water filling into the pipe bore. Test pressure is held compliant with applicable industrial standards to validate seal tightness and detect any leakage. All test data is automatically logged to a dedicated database for full traceability and archived record access. Designed with dual manual and automatic control modes, the unit achieves reliable, secure and eco-friendly operation.

Process Flow

The hydraulic pressure test has three processes: pipe flushing, pressure testing and water drainage, and they are run in sequence as follows:

(Loading Rack → Pipe Stop & Distributor) → Pipe Tilting → Alignment & Flushing → Standby Station → Feeding into Testing Machine → Clamping by Jigs → Both-End Test Heads Advance to Position → Pre-sealing → Water Filling & Venting → Pipe Body Pressure Boosting → Pressure Holding → Sequential Pressure Relief → Both-End Test Heads Retract → Jigs Release, Steel Pipe Retracts from Test Heads → Pipe Discharge from Testing Machine (signal output for untest-passed pipes) → Residual-water Blowing-off → Discharge onto Unloading Rack → Next Cycle
